Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue, protect, and empower women, girls, and displaced boys affected by conflict and crisis, restoring dignity and creating pathways to safety, education, health, and economic independence. We deliver emergency relief, trauma‑informed care, skills training, school‑fee support, and community reintegration services to internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Cameroon’s Northwest and Southwest regions and to vulnerable communities locally and abroad.
SSF is aiming at building the Sameka Shakelton Center of Empowerment, a permanent shelter and training hub that will provide secure housing, vocational training, mental‑health support, and entrepreneurship pathways to reduce exploitation, unwanted pregnancies, and disease, and to enable sustainable livelihoods. Our approach centers on protection, practical skills, and long‑term community participation so survivors can reclaim their futures.
We remain committed to rapid, compassionate response and to partnerships that amplify impact. Thank you for considering support for SSF’s mission to bring hope, safety, and opportunity to those who need it most.

Your contributions help empower individuals to develop essential skills, build confidence, access education and healthcare, and create a brighter future. We’re passionate about providing homes and shelter to orphans, the homeless, and those displaced by crises, abuse, or tragedy. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment, especially for children, to prevent malaria, promote education, and foster a normal life.

You can make a difference by donating gently used items, volunteering your time, spreading the word about our mission, or contributing financially. Together, we can create a brighter future for those in need.
